At a time so undefined it could be tomorrow. On a stage so undefined it could be this very one, the actor Dionisio, with the help of Clarín, an artificial intelligence, is about to premiere A Thousand Hats—his defence of live art in an artificial, cold, disconnected world.
Half an hour before opening night, they finally come up with an ending they’re happy with—an utterly vandalistic ending—and, in a rush, they review and adapt the whole piece to fit this new ending.
A Thousand Hats is a comedy that’s equal parts absurd and romantic. Our own tribute to the art and craft of storytelling. A warm look at our lean times, at natural stupidity versus artificial intelligence.
